The Tunisian Football Federation’s National Appeals Committee officially and definitively rejected the lists of Ziyad El Tlemsani and Jalal Ben Taqia from the electoral race today, Saturday, May 4, 2024.
According to a statement by the committee’s president, Mouaz Al-Nasseri, to Diwan FM, the dismissal of the two lists came in confirmation of the Independent Electoral Commission’s decision.
He refrained from elaborating on further details due to the confidentiality of the negotiations, as he expressed it.
As a result, the general election session scheduled for May 11th will be canceled.
