Club Africain, one of Tunisia’s prominent football clubs, was slated to resume training today after a ten-day break.
However, the club’s management has decided to postpone the return until the following Monday, awaiting the appointment of the new coach, whose identity is expected to be revealed on Sunday at the latest.
Youssef Al-Alami remains in deliberation, considering three notable candidates for the coaching position.
The shortlist includes Fawzi Benzarti, the experienced Tunisian coach, Frenchman Jean-Michel Cavalli, and Lassaad Dridi.
The decision-making process aims to secure the right fit for the team, considering the coaching style and experience of the potential candidates.
Notably, the club has officially ruled out the possibility of contracting with Nabil Nabil Al-Kuqi due to concerns about his playing style.
