Tunisia to face Mali and Mauritania in October friendlies

Tunisia will step up preparations for their upcoming international assignments with friendly matches against Mali and Mauritania in October.

The Carthage Eagles are scheduled to face Mali on 3 October, before taking on Mauritania two days later on 5 October.

The two fixtures will provide Tunisia with an opportunity to assess their squad and fine-tune their preparations ahead of their next competitive commitments.

Mali are expected to provide a strong test, with the West African side possessing considerable experience on the continental stage. Tunisia will then meet Mauritania in what promises to be another useful examination for the North Africans.

The back-to-back matches will also give Tunisia’s technical team an opportunity to assess players competing for places in the national squad, while allowing the coaching staff to work on tactical combinations and build greater understanding among the players.
