The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) is reportedly in search of a new coach for the national team, the Carthage Eagles, following the resignation of Nabil Maâloul. Tunisia’s elimination from the 2014 World Cup prompted Maâloul to step down from his position. The FTF is said to be considering the possibility of hiring a foreign coach, with Dutchman Ruud Krol emerging as a potential favorite. Krol previously led Club Sportif Sfaxien to the Tunisian Ligue 1 championship in the 2012-2013 season and achieved success with Orlando Pirates in South Africa in 2011.
