Right from kickoff, Tunisia asserted their dominance, pressing Somalia high up the pitch and dictating the tempo.
Their early pressure paid off in the 15th minute when Fadi Al-Tayashi broke the deadlock with a well-placed strike.
Tunisia doubled their advantage just before the half-hour mark.
Anis Saïdi found the net in the 30th minute, giving the North Africans full control as they headed into the break with a 2-0 lead.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Tunisia continuing to press forward.
In the 55th minute, Fadi Al-Tayashi struck again, securing his brace and sealing an emphatic victory for his team.
Group C standings and next challenge
With this result, Tunisia moves to the top of Group C, level on three points with Senegal, who also won their opening match against Gambia.
Meanwhile, Somalia and Gambia sit at the bottom, yet to register a point in the competition.
Tunisia will now shift their focus to a high-stakes encounter against Senegal on Friday at 19:00 GMT.
