Sami Trabelsi is no longer the coach of Tunisia following a disappointing performance at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). An amicable agreement was reached between Trabelsi and the Tunisian Football Federation. Maher Kanzari is considered as a possible replacement, but there might be a complication as he has recently been appointed at Esperance de Tunis. Kanzari, a former national team player, has coaching experience with Tunisian youth teams.
