Youssef Zouaoui was initially considered for the interim coaching role of the Carthage Eagles, but ultimately, the Tunisian Football Federation opted for Nizar Khanfir. The decision was announced on the federation’s official website, stating that Khanfir would serve as interim coach for the friendly match against Colombia on March 5.
Khanfir was chosen based on a recommendation from the National Technical Director, which received unanimous approval from the federation members. The upcoming match between Tunisia and Colombia will take place in Barcelona, Spain.
