Denis Lavagne will not be taking over as the coach of Sportif Sfaxien, at least not at the moment. Rumors had linked the former Cameroon coach to the club, but the leaders of CSS (Club Sportif Sfaxien) have denied this information and reiterated their confidence in the current coach, Hammadi Daou. The club’s recent defeats in the Tunisian Ligue 1 had raised doubts, but Daou will continue in his position for now. Denis Lavagne remains the coach of Etoile Sportive du Sahel.
