CS Sfaxien Hit by Departures: Ibrahim Ndong Joins Lorient, Sassi Could Follow Ben Youssef to Metz
It’s an exodus at Club Sportif Sfaxien. After confirming Fakhreddine Ben Youssef’s move to FC Metz, the Tunisian club has now officially parted ways with another key player — Ibrahim Ndong.
The Gabonese midfielder has completed a transfer to FC Lorient in Ligue 1, signing a four-and-a-half-year contract. The deal is reportedly worth €950,000.
Meanwhile, CS Sfaxien may soon see a third starter exit, with Ferjani Sassi also edging closer to a move to Metz, pending final formalities.
With key players leaving in quick succession, the Tunisian club’s management will need to act fast in the winter transfer window to reinforce the squad and avoid suffering the consequences on the pitch.
