Tunisian Derby Confirmed: Espérance vs. Club Africain Set for December 24
Despite recent rumors suggesting a possible postponement, the Tunisian League has officially confirmed that the much-anticipated derby between Espérance de Tunis and Club Africain will go ahead as scheduled on December 24.
The match, part of Matchday 14 of the Tunisian Ligue 1, will take place at the Radès Stadium, as originally planned.
The League’s statement puts an end to speculation about a delay, reaffirming:
“The Espérance–Club Africain derby will be played on December 24th. The debate is closed.”
This clash is especially important as Club Africain currently leads the standings, while Espérance is looking to close the gap, making for a highly charged encounter in the capital.
