Esperance de Tunis has officially parted ways with its coach, Maher Kanzari. The decision was announced on the club’s official website after a meeting between President Hamdi Meddeb and the coach. Both parties agreed to an amicable departure, as Kanzari acknowledged his failure to achieve the club’s main objective, the Champions League. Skander Kasri has been appointed as the interim coach, assisted by Adel Latrech. Kasri and Latrech will lead their first match against Grombalia in a late fixture of the 3rd day of Ligue 1. The Frenchman Roger Lemerre is widely speculated to be the potential new coach for Esperance de Tunis.
