Abdelmoumen Djabou: “I’ll Come Back Stronger” After Cruciate Ligament Surgery
Algerian international Abdelmoumen Djabou has successfully undergone surgery for a cruciate ligament injury and now begins a long six-month road to recovery. The Club Africain playmaker, injured during a training session earlier this month, shared his thoughts after the operation in an interview with Radio Mosaïque FM.
“Everything went well, thank God. There’s still rehabilitation to do. I know it won’t be easy, it’s a bit tiring, but I’m ready to face it. I’m going to redouble my efforts to succeed and come back even stronger.”
Djabou, a key figure for both his club and the Algerian national team, remains upbeat and committed to his recovery process despite the setback.
The injury will sideline him for the rest of the season, but he remains engaged with his team’s progress and optimistic about their chances in the Tunisian Ligue 1 title race:
“I was very happy with the victory snatched by my teammates against Bizerte. I trust them, I know that they can win the title.”
Djabou’s determination and spirit underline his importance not only on the field but also as a leader and motivator off it. His absence will certainly be felt, but his message serves as a rallying cry for his teammates as they push for championship glory.
