Tunisia defender Ayoub Kouraichi joins US Tataouine on loan
Tunisia centre-back Ayoub Kouraichi has joined US Tataouine from US Monastir on loan, completing his move on 20 September 2026.
The 22-year-old defender has moved within Tunisia’s top-flight football structure and is contracted with US Tataouine until 30 June 2027. The loan agreement means he will spend the 2026-27 season with the club before returning to US Monastir.
Kouraichi was born in Monastir on 9 April 2004 and came through the ranks at US Monastir, stepping up from the club’s under-21 side to the senior team in July 2025. His move to Tataouine represents another change of club after a series of temporary transfers during the previous two seasons.
Before joining the senior squad at US Monastir, Kouraichi spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan at AS Kasserine. He returned to Monastir at the end of that spell and subsequently made another temporary move, joining Stade Gabesien on loan in August 2025.
That spell ended on 30 June 2026, when he returned to US Monastir. The defender has now moved on again, this time to US Tataouine, where he joins as a centre-back for the current Ligue 1 campaign.
Kouraichi’s arrival gives Tataouine a Tunisia-born defensive option with experience of moving between clubs in the domestic game, although the available record does not include senior appearances, goals or assists from his Ligue 1 career.
US Tataouine’s transfer is the latest stage in Kouraichi’s early senior career, which has included spells with US Monastir, AS Kasserine and Stade Gabesien. His immediate future is secured in Tataouine, with the loan due to run until the end of June 2027.
