Tunisia international Ali Abdi has reaffirmed his allegiance to French outfit OGC Nice, signing a new contract until 2027.
The 31-year-old defender joined Nice last summer from Ligue 2 club Caen and has since established himself as a key cog to the team.
Ali Abdi has become fans favourite at the club, thanks to his exemplary attitude and commitment on the pitch.
The enterprising left-back has started ten games in Ligue 1 this season, and opened his account with a goal against Paris Saint-Germain in early October. The 31-year-old now has two goals and two assists in the top-flight.
Ali Abdi has seen significantly more game time than most would have expected since joining the club.
He was largely considered a player who would be a backup to Melvin Bard (24) when he first arrived, but head coach Franck Haise has created a system that fields both players.
He is expected to play a huge role for Nice as they aim to make a meaningful impact in the ongoing campaign.
