CS Hammam-Lif faced a setback in their appeal to the National Sports Arbitration Committee (CNAS). The committee rejected their challenge against referee Anouar Becher, who had been appointed for their match against Etoile Sportive du Sahel (ESS). The match, which was disputed, had already been won by ESS on the “green carpet” due to the controversy surrounding the referee’s decision.
While CS Hammam-Lif initially protested against the referee’s appointment, hoping to overturn the result, the CNAS dismissed the challenge. However, the club is still awaiting a final decision from the Federation’s Appeals Committee, which had previously ruled in their favor regarding the undisputed match.
