Tunisian League Update: Key Results from Matchday 27

Three matches were played this Tuesday as part of the 27th round of the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

Espérance de Zarzis secured a narrow 3-2 victory away at AS Djerba, a result that confirms AS Djerba’s relegation to the second division next season. Meanwhile, Stade Gabésien edged their local rivals Avenir Sportif de Gabès (ASG) 2-1 in the highly anticipated Gabes derby.

Elsewhere, AS Marsa claimed a solid win over Stade Tunisien, reinforcing their position in the mid-table battle.

Following these games and before Wednesday’s fixtures, Espérance de Zarzis stands fifth with 42 points, just ahead of AS Marsa in sixth (39 points) and Stade Tunisien in seventh (37 points). AS Djerba’s struggles this season have condemned them to relegation, currently sitting last with 17 points.
