Ahmed Akaichi on the Way Out at Espérance Tunis?
Ahmed Akaichi could be heading for the exit at Espérance Sportive de Tunis. Two years after joining the club, the striker’s time with the “Blood and Gold” seems to be nearing its end, largely due to his deteriorating relationship with the club’s supporters.
“I’m still Sang et Or, but I could leave,” Akaichi said in an interview with Mosaïque FM, suggesting he’s open to a departure—a move the club’s management reportedly would not oppose.
The situation worsened recently when the former ES Sahel forward, who has scored five goals this season, missed a crucial penalty against EGS Gafsa during the final round of the league’s first leg. The miss drew heavy criticism and anger from fans, who have since turned against him.
With tension building and fan pressure mounting, Akaichi’s future at Espérance looks increasingly uncertain. A move during the current window appears likely if suitable offers arrive.
