South African outfit TS Galaxy are leading the race to sign Orlando Pirates outcast Zakhele Lepasa in the summer transfer window.
Galaxy are seeking to bolster their squad for the new campaign and has identified the South Africa attacker as the perfect player to solidify their attack.
The 28-year-old, who has yet to make an appearance for Pirates this season due to an injury setback is expected to reunite with Galaxy. He gained prominence following his stunning goal against Kaizer Chiefs in the 2019 Nedbank Cup final.
According to sources, Galaxy are pushing to snap up the Bafana Bafana international, viewing him as the perfect addition to bolster their attack.
The potential move carries special significance. Lepasa initially rose to prominence during his 2018/19 loan spell at Galaxy, with the iconic cup final strike cementing his status as a club legend.
Meanwhile, TS Galaxy faces competition from other clubs, who are also desperate to secure the services of the attacker.
