Tristan Andrew joins Aarhus Fremad: Denmark-South Africa midfielder completes move to 1. Division club

Denmark-South Africa midfielder Tristan Andrew has joined Aarhus Fremad after a spell without a club, completing his move to the Danish 1. Division side on 15 September 2026.

The 20-year-old plays as a defensive midfielder and becomes part of Aarhus Fremad’s squad for the 2026-27 season. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.

Andrew’s previous club was Pogon II, whom he left on 1 September 2026. He joined the Polish side from Copenhagen U19 in August 2025 in a €200,000 transfer, having developed in Denmark’s youth system before moving abroad.

During his time with Pogon II, Andrew made seven appearances in the Betclic 3 Liga – Group II and scored once. His career record also includes 52 appearances and four goals in the U19 Boys League, alongside eight outings in the UEFA Youth League.

He recorded five appearances in the Future Cup, providing one assist, and made one appearance in the Reserveligaen Spring competition. Those matches form the main body of the midfielder’s recorded competitive experience before his move to Aarhus Fremad.

Andrew began his youth career with KB Youth before moving to FCK Youth in January 2023. He then progressed to Copenhagen U19, where he spent time before joining Pogon II.

The move brings the midfielder back to Denmark after his season in Poland. Aarhus Fremad compete in the country’s 1. Division, and Andrew’s arrival gives the club a player with experience in defensive midfield and a background across Danish and Polish youth and reserve competitions.

His international eligibility reflects his Danish and South African nationalities. Andrew was born on 5 March 2006 and joins Aarhus Fremad at the age of 20.

The transfer was completed on 15 September 2026, with Andrew now registered as an Aarhus Fremad player.
