Benin international Stéphane Sessègnon is leaving the Premier League as he is no longer part of Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio’s plans. According to Daily Mail, Sessègnon is expected to sign with Al Jaish club in Qatar for an estimated transfer fee of 6 million euros. The 29-year-old midfielder has had stints with several European clubs, including PSG (2008-2011) and Le Mans UC (2006-2008). He signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Sunderland in January 2011, and the club paid 7 million euros at the time. Sessègnon was arrested earlier in the week by English police for drunk driving.
