USM Algiers, a club in the Algerian League 1, has announced the transfer of Nigerien international Yacouba Ali Seydou. The player has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Algerian capital club. According to sources, the coach of USM Alger played a significant role in securing the transfer. Seydou, aged 20, is the second recruit for USM Alger after former Algerian international striker Abdelmalek Ziaya. The midfielder, who participated in the 2012 African Cup of Nations, will bring added strength to his new club’s midfield. Seydou is not part of Niger’s squad for the upcoming CAN.
