Mohamed Yattara’s Future Uncertain Amid Lyon’s Changing Attack
After several loan spells away from the club, Mohamed Yattara may finally get a chance to establish himself at Lyon. With the departures of strikers Bafétimbi Gomis and Jimmy Briand, space has opened up in the squad for the young Guinean forward, who is part of new coach Hubert Fournier’s plans. Rennes, having lost key forwards such as Abdoul Kadir, Hélder Oliveira, and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo Romero, view Yattara as a valuable addition to rebuild their attack.
A move to Rennes could also offer Yattara increased playing time and a more lucrative, long-term contract—factors that may sway his decision.
