Sissoko Responds to PSG Transfer Speculation
Moussa Sissoko has broken his silence on growing speculation linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Newcastle United midfielder has long been the subject of interest from top European clubs, and recent reports suggested he was on the verge of joining the French champions. However, the 25-year-old French international has now poured cold water on those rumours.
Taking to Twitter, Sissoko posted a brief but pointed message:
“I am a professional player and I remain focused on my team Newcastle United FC. #Don’tListenToTheRumors”
The former Toulouse star, who joined Newcastle in 2013, has previously expressed his admiration for PSG, but for now it appears his focus remains firmly on his current club.
Sissoko’s comments are likely to reassure Magpies fans, although interest from the Ligue 1 giants may not disappear so easily as the January transfer window unfolds.
