Transfer tensions: Bradley Barcola faces stiff PSG competition

Bradley Barcola

Paris Saint-Germain is gearing up for a pivotal January transfer window that could see significant changes to its attacking lineup, potentially impacting Bradley Barcola’s place in the team.

RMC journalist Arthur Pierrot revealed on Twitch that PSG’s initial strategy to only manage departures has evolved:

“At the start, we said that we were not going to recruit, we were only going to manage certain departures and that’s it. Now it has changed a little, everything is conditional on two departures, those of (Randal) Kolo Muani and (Milan) Skriniar.”

While Kolo Muani is on the radar of 12 clubs, Skriniar has drawn interest primarily from Galatasaray, with other suitors in England and Italy.

Pierrot explained that PSG’s ambitions hinge on these exits: “Until these departures are resolved, Paris will not be able to move forward.” If they materialize, the club’s priority becomes signing a striker and a winger. This could spell trouble for Barcola, as PSG manager Luis Enrique aims to foster competition:

“Luis Enrique believes that we still need to set up competition with (Bradley) Barcola.”
