Morgan Poaty Joins Guingamp After Returning from Loan at Troyes
Congolese-born defender Morgan Poaty is set to continue his career in Ligue 2, joining En Avant Guingamp after returning from a loan spell at Troyes. The 21-year-old, who came through the Montpellier youth academy, will be playing his third professional club after Montpellier and Troyes.
In a statement, Montpellier confirmed: “Morgan Poaty is expected to continue his development in Domino’s Ligue 2 with En Avant Guingamp. The club has reached an agreement in principle with Guingamp for the transfer of the defender. The deal will be finalized following the customary medical examination and the conclusion of his loan period.”
Poaty, who has shown promise in his early professional career, is expected to gain valuable first-team experience at Guingamp as they aim to bounce back from relegation this season.
