Paul Pogba continues to be at the center of transfer speculation, and Paris Saint-Germain remains one of the clubs most keenly interested in the powerful French midfielder, who at the time was starring for Juventus.
According to Le 10 Sport, Raffaele Poli, head of the CIES Football Observatory, weighed in on the situation by analyzing Pogba’s potential market trajectory. He noted:
“If Pogba does not renew his contract, which ends in June 2016, and maintains his level of performance, his value in a year will be ‘only’ around 50 million euros. So, if a club offers more than 60 million euros now, Juventus could very well accept the deal to gain funds to rejuvenate their aging squad.”
This insight reflects Juventus’s possible strategic thinking — cashing in on Pogba while his value is still high rather than risk letting him run down his contract. It also fuels PSG’s hopes, as the Qatari-backed club continues to pursue top-tier talent to bolster their midfield.
If PSG were to land Pogba, it would be seen as a major coup — not only bringing a French superstar back home but also adding strength and flair to their midfield in their ongoing quest for Champions League glory.
