Ishak Belfodil, the Algerian footballer, has officially joined Inter Milan, as reported by Africa Top Sports. The former Lyon player has signed a 5-year contract with the Nerazzurri. In exchange, Antonio Cassano has moved to Parma.
Belfodil, a 21-year-old striker, attracted interest from German and English clubs as well. He scored 8 goals in the previous season. The transfer fee is estimated to be around 10 million euros if it includes Matias Silvestre in the deal or 7.5 million euros without the Argentine central defender.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Belfodil’s salary will be progressive, starting at least 800,000 euros per month (excluding bonuses). The move to Inter Milan represents a significant step in Belfodil’s career, and the club will be looking to benefit from his talents in the seasons to come.
