The players, aged 16, met an untimely demise in a devastating road accident in the Girona province of Spain.
Expressing his profound sorrow and condolences, Infantino conveyed heartfelt thoughts towards the families, friends, and everyone associated with their respective clubs during this challenging time.

Spanish media outlets previously reported the untimely death of 16-year-old Moroccan player Osama Al-Assari, who, along with his friend and fellow footballer David Castilla from the Perlada team, and David’s father, Sergio Castilla, tragically lost their lives in the accident.
The Perlada football club in Spain responded to the tragedy, expressing deep sadness, stating, “A very sad day for the club, as we regret to announce the passing of the player David Castilla in a traffic accident, along with his father Sergio Castilla and Osama Al-Assari, a youth player (cfbaseroses).”
