Christ Inao Oulaï attracts growing transfer interest after strong season

Ivorian midfielder Christ Inao Oulaï could become one of Trabzonspor’s biggest transfer sales of the summer after the Turkish club reportedly placed a €35 million price tag on the highly-rated 20-year-old following an impressive debut campaign.

The young midfielder enjoyed a strong first season in Turkey after joining Trabzonspor from French side SC Bastia last summer. He quickly adapted to his new surroundings and established himself as an important figure in the squad throughout the campaign.

Oulaï made 31 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists during a season that also saw him help Trabzonspor secure victory in the Turkish Cup.

His performances have not gone unnoticed across Europe.

Several Premier League clubs are already monitoring the Ivorian midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window, with Chelsea and Tottenham among the teams reportedly interested in signing him.

Turkish outlet TRT Spor also reports that Portuguese giants Benfica have now entered the race, further increasing competition for the player’s signature.

Interest in the Yopougon-born midfielder has continued to intensify in recent weeks, with reports suggesting multiple clubs have already submitted offers worth more than €30 million.

Trabzonspor are said to be open to listening to proposals but are hoping to secure a transfer fee closer to €35 million as Oulaï’s market value continues to rise following his breakthrough season.

The midfielder’s rapid development has turned him into one of the most talked-about young African talents currently playing in Europe.

His ability to settle quickly in Turkish football and consistently deliver strong performances has significantly strengthened his reputation ahead of the new campaign.

The growing list of clubs following him reflects the increasing belief that the Ivorian midfielder is ready for the next stage of his career.

Oulaï’s value could rise even further if he performs strongly with Ivory Coast at the upcoming FIFA World Cup. With several major European clubs already positioning themselves for negotiations, Trabzonspor may soon find themselves at the centre of a major transfer battle for one of African football’s emerging stars.
