TP Mazembe has received a significant boost ahead of their upcoming clash against Petro de Luanda in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals, with the return of three key players from injury. Joël Beya, Cheikh Fofana, and Ibrahima Keita are set to rejoin training sessions this Wednesday after successful rehabilitation.

The announcement comes as a relief for TP Mazembe fans, who were concerned about the availability of these players for the crucial second leg match against Petro de Luanda.

The trio’s return is expected to bolster the team’s chances as they aim to secure a spot in the next round of the prestigious continental tournament.

The team convened at Kamalondo on Monday to begin preparations for the crucial fixture scheduled for Saturday in Luanda. During the session, the coaching staff provided updates on the injured players, confirming their progress and readiness to rejoin the squad.

Joël Beya, who had been sidelined with a minor thigh injury, has recovered sufficiently and is deemed fit for the upcoming encounter.

Likewise, Cheikh Fofana, who had been nursing a moderate sprain, is set to resume training on Wednesday, indicating a swift recovery.

Ibrahima Keita, who had suffered a thigh injury, has also responded well to treatment and has already returned to training.

His inclusion in the squad provides additional depth and options for the coaching staff ahead of the crucial fixture against Petro de Luanda.

The return of these players underscores TP Mazembe’s determination to excel in the CAF Champions League and reaffirms their commitment to fielding a competitive and formidable team.

With their key players back in contention, TP Mazembe will be looking to deliver a strong performance and secure a positive result in Luanda.
