Tour du Faso 2026: Paul Daumont’s personal coach Thierry Bedard takes in Burkina Faso race

Thierry Bedard, the personal coach of Burkina Faso cyclist Paul Daumont, is in the country to experience the Tour du Faso 2026, rather than to work with his rider in an official coaching capacity.

The French coach is currently in Burkina Faso on holiday. During his stay, he has also taken the opportunity to watch the competition, in which Daumont is participating.

Bedard’s visit gives him the chance to follow the race at close quarters and experience the atmosphere surrounding one of the major events on Burkina Faso’s sporting calendar.

The Tour du Faso is regarded as one of the leading cycling competitions in Africa, and Bedard is discovering the event while supporting Daumont from outside an official sporting role.
