TOULOUSE COACH CONFIRMS: WISSAM BEN YEDDER SET TO STAY
Despite strong interest from Sevilla FC, Wissam Ben Yedder will likely remain at Toulouse FC, according to head coach Dominique Arribagé. The Franco-Tunisian striker, who was reportedly keen on a move, saw his transfer hopes dashed due to Toulouse’s high demands.
“I don’t think he’s going to leave, I think he’s going to stay with us,” said Arribagé. “The more days go by, the more complicated it will be because it will be difficult for us to turn around afterwards.”
Ben Yedder, frustrated by the blocked move, had hoped for a new challenge. However, as the transfer window nears its end, it appears he will continue his journey in Ligue 1 — at least for now.
