Aymen Abdennour, who has been playing for Toulouse FC for the past two years, bid farewell to his former club and its fans as he prepared to move to AS Monaco on loan with an option to buy. In a heartfelt message posted on his Facebook page, the Tunisian international expressed his gratitude and affection for Toulouse FC and its supporters.
“I arrived in this city and this club two years ago. Today, I am preparing to leave it to settle in Monaco, that’s the job. But I feel like I was born here and have only ever played football at TFC,” Abdennour wrote. He reflected on his journey, mentioning his previous clubs such as Étoile du Sahel and Werder Bremen before joining Toulouse FC.
Abdennour expressed his appreciation for everyone who supported him during his time at the club, including the technical, medical, and administrative staff, as well as the fans who cheered him on. He particularly mentioned Jacqui and Monique, indicating a special connection with them.
Despite his departure, Abdennour emphasized that he leaves Toulouse FC with a sense of happiness and ambition for his new chapter at AS Monaco. He thanked the club leaders and President Sadran for their trust in him.
