Tottenham Make €10m Bid for Lyon Striker Clinton Njie
Tottenham Hotspur have made a €10 million offer to French club Olympique Lyonnais for Cameroon international Clinton Njie, according to reports from Sky Sports.
The 21-year-old forward enjoyed a breakout campaign last season, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists in just 15 Ligue 1 starts. His pace and versatility have attracted the attention of Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is eager to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new Premier League season.
With the departures of Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado expected to leave a gap in Tottenham’s forward line, Njie is seen as a potential long-term solution. The Indomitable Lion has impressed with his direct style of play, and Pochettino is reportedly keen to complete a deal quickly.
