Tottenham set to bid for Ghana star Mohammed Kudus

Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus rejects Manchester United move over Champions League ambitions

Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a move for West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus as they seek to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new Premier League season.

The North London club are reportedly ready to table a formal offer for the Ghana international, who has attracted widespread interest following an impressive debut campaign in English football.

Kudus, 24, is open to leaving the London Stadium this summer, with Chelsea, Newcastle United, and clubs from the Saudi Pro League all monitoring his situation.

However, it is Spurs who are said to be moving fastest, with reports from talkSPORT indicating the club is preparing to make its intentions official in the coming days.

The former Ajax star has a release clause of £85 million in his West Ham contract, which can be activated during the first ten days of July.

Tottenham, however, are understood to be reluctant to meet that full buyout figure and are hoping to negotiate a lower fee.

Kudus joined West Ham in 2023 and quickly established himself as a key player, delivering a series of dynamic performances that showcased his versatility, creativity, and goal-scoring threat.

His technical quality and adaptability across attacking and midfield roles have made him one of the most sought-after players in the current window.

While West Ham are keen to retain the midfielder, the presence of a release clause and growing interest from top clubs could force their hand.

Spurs view Kudus as a key target who could inject pace, flair, and intelligence into their midfield unit.
