Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to part ways with midfielder Yves Bissouma, with the club reportedly making a firm decision on his future.
According to transfer specialist Ekrem Konur, Spurs are open to offers for the Malian international.
The decision comes as Bissouma finds himself increasingly on the periphery of Ange Postecoglou’s squad.
One significant factor influencing Tottenham’s stance is the midfielder’s contract, which is set to expire in June 2026.
The club may look to cash in on him while they still can, rather than risk losing him for a lower fee closer to the end of his deal.
Another key element is his diminished role in the team.
Bissouma has struggled to secure a regular starting spot this season, despite his promising performances earlier in the campaign.
Out of the 24 Premier League fixtures played so far, he has been named in the starting XI just 13 times, with most of those appearances coming before the turn of the year.
Having joined Tottenham from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2022, Bissouma was initially seen as a major addition to the squad.
However, injuries, suspensions, and competition for places have hindered his ability to cement himself as an indispensable member of the team.
With Tottenham aiming to strengthen their squad ahead of next season, offloading Bissouma could free up funds and squad space for potential reinforcements.
The coming weeks could prove decisive as clubs assess their midfield options before the summer transfer window opens.
