Tottenham make Victor Osimhen top attacking target as Galatasaray demand €75m

Tottenham Hotspur have made Victor Osimhen their priority target as they look to strengthen their attack, but Galatasaray will not consider offers below about €75m for the Nigeria international.

The London club have already added several players during the summer transfer window and now want to complete their recruitment with a world-class striker. Their attention has turned to Osimhen, who is currently playing for Galatasaray.

According to information from CaughtOffside, Tottenham have made initial enquiries about whether a deal for the striker would be possible. Early estimates suggest the transfer could be worth between €60m and €65m.

However, Tottenham have not yet submitted an official offer, and negotiations between the two clubs have not started.

Galatasaray are determined to protect the value of one of their most important players. The Istanbul club have placed an approximate €75m valuation on Osimhen and are not expected to negotiate below that figure.

The Turkish side believe they are in possession of one of the best goalscorers in European football and want any transfer fee to reflect his status and importance to the team.

Osimhen remains under contract with Galatasaray until June 2029. His current market value is estimated at €75m, meaning Tottenham would need to improve on the initial figures being discussed if they are to make serious progress.

The striker enjoyed a notable campaign, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions. Those performances have continued to attract interest from leading clubs around Europe, with Tottenham now appearing ready to test Galatasaray’s resolve.

Osimhen currently earns an annual salary of €18,750,000, equivalent to 12,187,500,000 FCFA.

For now, the proposed move remains at the enquiry stage. No formal bid has been made and no talks have been opened, while Galatasaray’s €75m valuation represents the key condition Tottenham would have to meet to advance the deal.
