Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race to sign Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman.
Former Spurs sporting director Fabio Paratici, who is currently acting as a consultant during his football ban, is believed to be driving the push for Lookman’s arrival as he prepares for a full return to the club.
The 27-year-old forward is keen on leaving Atalanta after the club blocked a £40 million bid from Inter Milan earlier this summer.
Lookman enjoyed an outstanding 2024/25 campaign, scoring 20 goals in all competitions and further enhancing his reputation across Europe.
The Super Eagles forward, who previously had spells at Fulham and Leicester City, has now emerged as a serious option for Tottenham.
While Spurs remain interested in Manchester City winger Savinho, they have been informed he is not available for transfer, making Lookman their top alternative as the transfer window draws to a close.
The Premier League side is expected to make formal contact with Atalanta in the coming days.
