Germany international Sierra Leonean descent Antonio Rudiger has emerged as a top transfer target for Premier League outfit, Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the summer transfer window.
Tottenham are seeking to strengthen their squad for the new campaign, with the former Chelsea star emerging as a priority target for the club.
The Premier League outfit are hoping to convince Rudiger not to sign a new contract with Real Madrid, despite agreeing a significant pay cut in order to remain with at the Bernabéu.
According to reports, the Premier League side prepared to offer Rudiger a lucrative deal with additional bonuses in an attempt to lure the experienced defender back to England.
Meanwhile, the rock-solid defender will not be in a rush to decide on his future, but is eager to play in England for the second time, having had spell with Chelsea.
Aside Tottenham, fellow Premier League clubs, West Ham and Crystal Palace are also ready to battle for Rudiger’s signature.
The defender also has the option of continuing his career in Saudi Arabia, where enormous financial rewards await.
His current contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of the season, but is yet to put pen to paper for a new deal.
