Tottenham Hotspur have expressed interest in Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo but are not currently pursuing a deal due to the Cherries’ high valuation of the Ghana international, according to The Athletic.
The 25-year-old, who is reportedly open to a move to north London, has caught the attention of several clubs following a standout 2024–25 campaign.
However, Bournemouth’s £65 million asking price has put off Spurs and other potential suitors, including Manchester United.
Semenyo has been a key figure under Andoni Iraola, scoring 21 goals over the past two seasons. He registered 13 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions last term, helping Bournemouth secure a top-half finish in the Premier League.
Tottenham’s new head coach, Thomas Frank, is keen to strengthen his attacking department despite the recent arrival of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich.
The French forward joined Spurs permanently following a five-month loan, in a deal worth €35 million (£29.9m) with an additional €10 million (£8.5m) in add-ons.
Spurs are also hopeful of signing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, but the Cameroon international prefers a move to Manchester United, who have already submitted an offer worth £55 million, including add-ons.
Semenyo joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023 and signed a new five-year contract in July 2024.
Prior to his Premier League move, he made 125 senior appearances and had loan spells with Bath City, Newport County, and Sunderland.
