Tottenham and Liverpool negotiating to sign Ivorian winger Yan Diomande
Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are negotiating to secure the signing of Ivorian forward Yan Diomande.
The 19-year-old has made an immediate impact since joining RB Leipzig from Leganes just six months ago, quickly establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most exciting young prospects.
According to Belgian transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri, both Premier League clubs are already in advanced discussions with Diomande’s representatives. His report for Sky Switzerland also notes interest from FC Barcelona, though the Spanish giants have not yet held official talks with the player’s camp.
Despite the growing buzz, no club has contacted RB Leipzig directly, but the German side are fully aware of the mounting interest surrounding their young forward.
With Diomande tied to Leipzig until 2030 and performing at an exceptional level, the club remains in a strong negotiating position.
Recent speculation suggests any potential transfer could demand a fee in the region of €100 million, reflecting the teenager’s soaring value.
While both Tottenham and Liverpool have a good chance of signing the talented teenager, they may have to wait until next summer.
