“We still have three games and we have to win them,” emphasized Emmanuel Adebayor. “We want to finish as well as possible. We know that during the season we lost our supporters because of some of our results. We will try our best to improve this.”
Acknowledging the challenge posed by Stoke, Adebayor remains optimistic about Tottenham’s chances. “It will be tough against Stoke. I managed to score there last season, so I have good hope I will do it again. We’re going there to play our football and try to win.”
For the Togolese captain, securing the three points is paramount, regardless of the scoreline. “If I could win 1-0, I would say, that’s good. Let’s just get the victory. Let’s just win the game and get the three points. It’s all that matters.”
Recognizing Stoke’s strengths, particularly in midfield, Adebayor emphasizes the importance of readiness. “They play the best football with Ireland, Nzonzi. They keep the ball well with Charlie Adam in midfield, they have balance. I think we are ready to get the three points.”
