Tosin Adarabioyo is open to representing Nigeria
Tosin Adarabioyo is weighing a potential switch to represent Nigeria at international level after an impressive start to life at Chelsea.
Born in London and raised in Manchester, the 27-year-old has represented England at youth level but remains uncapped for the senior team, leaving the door open for a move to the Super Eagles.
“That is a question I have answered quite a bit recently, yeah, it is something that we are looking into in the future,” Tosin said.
“It is a conversation I want to have with the coach; we will see how that goes.”
Adarabioyo’s profile has soared in recent months. On 7 June 2024, Chelsea confirmed they had signed the centre-back on a free transfer, with a four-year deal beginning on 1 July.
Just four months later, he marked his first goal for the Blues in style, scoring in an 8–0 demolition of Armenian side FC Noah in the UEFA Conference League on 7 November.
As Chelsea prepare for a new season, Tosin is tipped to be a central figure in their defensive line.
