English-Nigerian defender Tosin Adarabioyo is embracing life at Chelsea with confidence as the season heads into its critical stretch.
The defender, who joined Chelsea earlier this year, says the move has felt natural from the start. Speaking in the club’s matchday programme before their clash with Everton, Tosin shared that Stamford Bridge already feels like home and suits him perfectly.
“I knew people at the club already and everyone was very welcoming. When you’re a centre-half you’re required to be a leader, you need to impose yourself on the field and strikers that you come up against. With my build and my qualities, I’m able to do that,” Tosin said.
Chelsea are battling hard to secure a Champions League spot and aiming for silverware both at home and abroad. Adarabioyo stressed how locked in the squad is as they eye a strong finish.
“It’s crunch time. We’re fighting for that Champions League finish, and for the Conference League trophy. We also have the Club World Cup coming up in the summer, and that is something to fight for too. The boys are fully focused and motivated for all of it,” Adarabioyo stated.
