Top Premier League clubs in fierce battle for Cameroonian forward Karl Etta Eyong
Top Premier League clubs are set for a fierce transfer battle over the signature of Cameroon international Karl Etta Eyong.
The 22-year-old attacker, who plies his trade for Levante has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs including Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal following an impressive start to the current campaign.
Karl Etta Eyong has racked up six goals and provided three assists in seven appearances in the Spanish top-flight so far, establishing himself as the club’s most potent weapon in attack and one of the standout players in the Spanish top-tier this season.
With the January transfer window fast approaching, the three top Premier League clubs are said to be preparing a move for the enterprising forward.
Karl Etta Eyong is open for a move as early as January, boosting the chances of clubs, who are keen on landing his signature.
Meanwhile, Levante are reluctant to sanction a move for the forward in the winter. The Spanish outfit will only transfer the Cameroonian after the 2026 World Cup, where his market value could dramatically increase.
The enterprising forward joined Levante in September 2025 from Villarreal for €3 million, with his current contract expected to expire in 2029.
