Now, top European clubs Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid are reportedly circling, with both clubs keen on exploring his availability later this month.
Bayern Munich, in particular, has faced challenges on the wings, with Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry, and Kingsley Coman underperforming more often than not. All three have been linked with moves away, and Nkunku is seen as a potential solution to bolster their attack. Similarly, Atlético Madrid is keen on strengthening their squad, and Nkunku has emerged as a target.
Although Nkunku isn’t actively seeking an exit from Chelsea, his frustration with his situation under manager Enzo Maresca is clear. With interest mounting from prestigious clubs, it seems a move may be on the cards, but whether Chelsea will let the talented winger go remains to be seen.
