Serhou Guirassy has quietly become one of the most talked-about names in European football.
The Borussia Dortmund striker, who joined the club last summer, is now on the radar of seven major clubs following fresh revelations about a special clause in his contract.
Reports from Sky and Bild confirm that Guirassy has a release clause worth between €60 and €75 million. This clause can only be activated after the 2025 Club World Cup, and only by a select group of football giants: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
Despite the buzz, Guirassy isn’t planning a move. The 29-year-old is said to feel settled and thankful to Dortmund, especially for trusting him despite his past injury issues. The club views him as a key piece of their long-term plans.
A transfer could become possible only if Dortmund fail to qualify for European competition and one of the listed clubs makes a serious move. But for now, all signs point to Guirassy staying put.
