The national 1st division football championship in Togo, initially scheduled for March 8, has been postponed to a later date, according to a decision made by the executive board of the Togolese Football Federation during meetings held on March 5 and 6.
The official website of the Togolese Football Federation announced the postponement without providing further details regarding the teams that will play in the inaugural match or the number of clubs participating in the championship this season. The new date for the championship will be communicated in the coming days.
The last season of the championship concluded on November 30 with Angels of Notsé being crowned as the champions.
