AS Togo Port Crowned Champions of the Radio Sport FM Tournament
AS Togo Port claimed the Radio Sport FM Tournament Trophy this Sunday after a convincing 2-0 victory over Dynamique Togolais (Dyto) in the final held at the Municipal Stadium. The hero of the match was Kolman Agbegniadan, who netted both goals to secure the title for the Port team.
The final, which did not include any preliminary round, lived up to expectations with both sides showing attacking intent from the outset. Despite several chances in the first half, the deadlock remained unbroken at the interval.
After halftime, Dyto—the “Red Robots”—attempted to dominate possession and build through the wings. However, their approach backfired. In the 63rd minute, AS Togo Port capitalized on a wing attack, and Agbegniadan broke the deadlock with a sharp pivot and finish past Dyto keeper Djehani Nguissan. Just ten minutes later, the diminutive striker doubled the lead with a brilliant solo effort, running nearly 40 meters before slotting home his second of the match.
The score remained unchanged, and AS Togo Port succeeded Agaza of Lomé, winners of the previous edition, as champions.
