Togo set for representation in 2025 Club World Cup

The 2025 Club World Cup draw, held on Thursday, has confirmed that two Togolese players will take part in the prestigious tournament, representing their country on the global stage. Fodoh Laba and Roger Aholou are the players selected, both set to feature for their respective clubs in this elite competition, which brings together top teams from across the world.

Fodoh Laba, who plays for Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates, will compete in Group G, where his team will face formidable opponents including Manchester City, Wydad Casablanca, and Juventus.

The 30-year-old Togolese international, known for his goal-scoring ability, will be looking to make a significant impact in a group featuring some of the biggest names in world football.

On the other hand, Roger Aholou, a talented midfielder for Esperance de Tunis, will represent Togo in Group D.

His team is set to square off against the likes of Chelsea, Flamengo, and León. Aholou, a key figure in the midfield for Esperance, will be looking to help his team navigate the tough competition and make a strong showing in the tournament.
